Los Angeles:
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has came out in her support saying there is nothing wrong with her child.
An argumentative Dina placing the blame on the judge no longer on the case and staunchly defending the behaviour of her daughter appeared on Friday's Today show, People reported online.
The 'Mean Girls' star served 14 days of a 90-day jail sentence for violating her probation in a 2007 drug case. She has been sent to a UCLA drug rehab facility for a court-mandated three-month treatment.
"I'm not condoning drinking and driving, but she's still paying the price for what she did in 2007. She's changed and grown up considerably.
For now, in rehab, "She's great, she's been through a lot and will be coming home to New York".
"Age. Living life. Knowing life. Growing up," said Dina when questioned about what accounted for the change.
Asked about the ever increasing troubles in the 24-year-old star's life, Dina said, "That's all propaganda. You're reading things that are not based on fact".
