There's good news for all those looking forward to watching Dharma Productions' first action franchise Yodha. The shooting of the film is moving at a steady pace and actors Disha Patani and Sidharth Malhotra have decided to share some behind-the-scenes footage from the sets of the film, albeit in their own style. Late on Saturday, Disha posted a video on Instagram where the actress, along with Sidharth Malhotra, can be seen singing along to the lines, "Who is sexy? I am sexy," while laughing and grooving to the upbeat track. She captioned the video saying, “And it's a wrap.” She used the hashtag of the name of the film Yodha and tagged Sidharth in the caption.
Fans rushed to the comments section to shower love on the two actors.

Sidharth Malhotra also posted the same video and stated, “And it's a wrap for our Lady Yodha. Thanks,” tagging Disha Patani and confirming that she had wrapped the shoot for her role in the film.

Prior to this, Sidharth Malhotra also posted another video that features a cute dog along with Disha and himself. In the caption, the actor wrote, "Real sexy on our Yodha set.” Disha Patani commented on the video saying, “Diamond doesn't seem very happy, lol," referring to the dog.

A few days ago, Disha Patani posted on Twitter revealing that she is going to be a part of Yodha. She shared a poster of the film with her name on it and wrote, “Super glad to join this action-packed journey! I'm ready for take-off, guys, let's go." Further, adding the release date, she stated, “Yodha lands in theatres near you on 11th November 2022."
Before this, filmmaker Karan Johar posted about Disha Patani's addition to the star cast and welcomed her to the project. He shared a poster with his online family on Instagram stating, “The phenomenal and exceptionally talented female leads of Yodha are here. Welcoming the fierce, the gorgeous and ever charming Disha Patani to the family.” The film will also star Raashii Khanna.
Karan Johar had announced on Twitter that Sidharth Malhotra will lead the action film. At first, he had tweeted the teaser of the film where we see Sidharth holding a gun inside an aeroplane. One of the wheels of the aeroplane is on fire while the passengers are seen in a state of panic. Karan captioned the tweet: “After conquering the peaks, I am proud to present Sidharth Malhotra back with power in the first of the action franchise by Dharma Productions – Yodha.”
Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Shershaah directed by Vishnuvardhan. Disha Patani, meanwhile, last starred in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Yodha will be directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
