Mumbai:
Social activist Anna Hazare and his campaign against corruption has inspired a budding director to make a documentary film, which is likely to be released next month.
Ankit Narayan has made Jai Bharat, a 26-minute film that focuses on the Jan Lokpal bill. Through the documentary, he intends to spread the cause taken up by Hazare.
"I was so much inspired by this movement of corruption that I thought of making a film and educate people about it. We are not en cashing Anna Hazare's popularity. We are trying to pass the information...educate people about the movement, about corruption," Ankit told PTI.
The documentary highlights the differences between the government's Lokpal Bill and Team Anna's version.
"The film talks about both the bills - Jan Lokpal and Lokpal. The benefits and losses of both these bills," he said.
The documentary now awaits the Censor Board clearance.
"Once the documentary is passed by the Censor Board, it will be released in the first or second week of January," he said.
The film will also have two songs sung by Mohammed Salamat, who has sung for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
The film features Arvind Kejriwal, Virendra Saxena and will have footage of Anna Hazare and Kiran Bedi.
"We have footages of Anna Hazare, about his work and the recent rally," Narayan said.
