The teaser poster for Don 2 very boldly announced "The return of the King", obviously referencing one of the last few lines of its prequel,Where Shah Rukh Khan purrs "I. Am. The. King".
The internet was abuzz with ample criticism for the bold declaration, Shah Rukh fans notwithstanding.But that was before the trailer was launched. What you get with Don 2, apparently, is one of the most thrilling rides of your life.
With a stylized narration by Don himself and an uber cool montage of the some of slickest shots this side of Hollywood, the film looks like a blockbuster already.
The music, by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, is largely a pacy remix of the prequel's version, but is so fabulously mixed that you're immediately drawn in.
Like its predecessor, Don 2 has been written and directed by Farhan Akhtar.
