Mumbai:
Double Dhamaal, the sequel to the 2007 comedy film Dhamaal, will have its world premiere at the forthcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) extravaganza to be held in Toronto next month.
The Indra Kumar movie - which features Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Aashish Chaudhary, Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat - will open as the IIFA World Premiere film June 23. The team is excited about the premiere and looking forward to attend the event.
"IIFA is a great platform to have a film's premiere and it is a big high for us to be at Toronto and introduce our film," said Arshad Warsi, who was present along with other cast members at an event here Thursday night.
The IIFA weekend, organised and conceptualised by Wizcraft International Entertainment, is an annual celebration of Indian cinema in international locations. It will be held June 23-25 this year.
The weekend will conclude with the IIFA awards ceremony, which will see veteran actor Dharmendra shaking a leg with his two sons - Sunny and Bobby. Former beauty queen-turned-actress Priyanka Chopra is also slated to perform at the ceremony to be held at the Roger's Centre in Toronto.
