New Delhi:

The makers of Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi's Double XL released the film's trailer on Wednesday. In the over three-minute-long video, the actors can be seen struggling with their personal and professional lives due to their body weight, but eventually, find each other and become good friends. The trailer starts with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who marks his Bollywood debut with the film, walking into a party and asking Huma Qureshi for a dance. One frame later, you realise it was just a dream, when Huma's mother wakes her up, who is worried for her daughter's marriage due to her being overweight. Huma, who in the film plays the character of Rajshree Trivedi from Meerut, wants to become a well-known sports presenter and not marry. Similarly, Sonakshi Sinha, who is playing the role of Saira Khanna, wants to become a fashion designer and faces her own set of problems due to her body size. Things change when the two plus-size women meet each other and decide to change their destiny and not weight. The trailer also features Zaheer Iqbal in a pivotal role.
