London:
Amidst his cancer battle, Hollywood icon Michael Douglas is looking forward to his 10th wedding anniversary with actress wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The Oscar winning actor, who is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment for throat cancer, says that his struggle with the disease has taught him to savour life's special moments, reported Mirror online.
"Time goes so fast. I'm looking forward to our anniversary and I'll be back in good health so we can really enjoy it although we haven't yet decided what we are going to do", said Douglas.
"Our marriage is a great legacy and because of my health issues it's having added importance. I'm going to really savour the moments and savour the time because it goes so fast," he added.
Despite his illness, the 65-year-old star has recently been involved in a number of new film projects. He is set to star in Steven Soderbergh's drama Haywire which is currently in post-production and due for release in 2011.
The movie also features Ewan McGregor and follows a soldier's need for revenge after being betrayed during a mission. Douglas also reprised his role as Gordon Gekko for Oliver Stone's Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, which premiered at the Cannes film festival this year.
