It's Earth Day today. People from all walks of life try to spread awareness about the issues, including global warming, deforestation and pollution. And, we have Bollywood celebrities joining the bandwagon. First up, is designer Masaba Gupta. She is someone who has always managed to inspire us with her social media updates. She has shared a picture and a video to mark the day. The opening slide features Masaba walking by the beach. The next one is from the hills. It is from an early morning running session. Quoting the great David Attenborough, Masaba wrote, “Nature is our biggest ally and greatest inspiration.”
Mouni Roy's note for “mama Earth” comes with a set of breathtaking pictures featuring the hills, snow-capped mountains and beaches. Of course, Mouni is there too. She has picked the moments from her travel journey. For the caption, the actress wrote, “Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the mystic of mama Earth.”
Now, take a look at Rakul Preet Singh's note on the occasion of Earth Day. She wants everyone to take a pledge “to be protective of this home for our future generations.” Rakul Preet has attached the note to a fun snapshot from one of her trips to the hills. “We all share a common home “Earth”. Let's take a pledge to be protective of this home for our future generations. Even small changes go a long way. Remember that our planet has enough for everyone's needs but not for everyone's greed.”
And, Aahana Kumra's Earth Day post is bound to make your screen brighter. Just look at the pictures. The album is mesmerising, to say the least. Aahana didn't spend much time on the caption and just wrote, “Most peaceful in the lap of mother Earth. Happy Earth Day, to everyone.”
