After her hot and sizzling debut in Jannat 2, model-turned-actress Eesha Gupta will have ade-glamourous role in Prakash Jha's forthcoming politicalthriller film, Chakravyuh.
In her debut film, Eesha, who played a glamourous roleand was Emraan Hashmi's love-interest in Jannat 2 will beseen in a de-glam role in the film as she plays a cop.
Filmed in Bhopal, Chakravyuh is set against thebackdrop of the Naxal movement.
"It is a de-glam role. I am playing an IPS officer.You will see me in the uniform, it is a different role. Whenyou see the film, you will get to know more about the role. Ican't talk much about it," Eesha said.
The model-turned-actress admits she signed the filmwithout even listening to the story.
"Prakash (director-producer) sir had heard about me andhis casting director called me up saying heliked me in the promos and wants to work with me. Imet him and he was really impressed that I knew Hindi. I wasconfident about what I was doing, so I just told him, sir ifyou direct me well, I will give you what you want, I am readyto mould myself in any form you want," Eesha said.
"We did the reading and he was impressed by my Hindi,as I come from Uttar Pradesh background. I still don't knowthe whole script, but I heard Prakash sir's name and jumped onto do it," she said.
Directed and produced by Jha, Chakravyuh stars AbhayDeol, Arjun Rampal, Om Puri and Kabir Bedi in pivotal roles,besides Eesha Gupta. The film is scheduled to release inNovember this year.
