It took Salman Khan only eight days to gross whopping Rs 150 crore at the box office - a figure many producers dream of.
Director Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, netted Rs 100 crore in the first five days of its release and now the film has crossed Rs 150 crore mark to become one of the biggest blockbusters of all time.
His earlier films Dabangg ( Rs 147 crore), Bodyguard ( Rs148 crore) and Ready (Rs 122 crore) had already made Salman a promising box office draw, but Ek Tha Tiger has become the biggest grosser for Salman.
With Rs 385 crore in its pocket, Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots sits at the top at the moment, but if Salman's film continues to get the same response at this rate, Ek Tha Tiger is likely to create a new record too.
