New Delhi:

Karan Johar's much-awaited directorial project Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released in theatres last week. While the chatter around the film is only growing by the day, one opinion on the film is almost unanimous – Ranveer Singh's Rocky Randhawa is a scene-stealer. Now, it also appears that the superstar was a favourite among the film's crew, at least that is what costume designer Eka Lakhani's new Instagram post suggests. Eka Lakhani, along with Manish Malhotra designed the much-loved costumes and looks for the romantic comedy. Sharing a bunch of images with Ranveer Singh and her crew, Eka Lakhani said, “Celebrating Rocky Randhawa. What a guy. Our Karol Bagh Munda, with his OTT designer wear and his matching cars, his protein shakes and luxury robes and won everyone's hearts. Rocky is a vibe, Rocky is a mood, Rocky is sabka yaar. His necklines are low but iske pyaar ka nasha hits a different high. The team's favourite character, but obvio.”

Speaking about how her team loved working on the character, Eka Lakhani added, “In my team, everyone wanted to go sourcing for Rocky, everyone wanted to be a part of deciding his looks, everyone wanted to be the assistant assigned to style him…and the team gave the character everything and more. We love you, Rocky! – Team RS,” and tagged Ranveer Singh.

In response, actress Anjali Anand, who plays Rocky's sister Gayatri in the film, dropped heart emojis. Yuvraj Dua, Ranveer Singh's dialect coach for the film, also responded with heart emoticons.

A few weeks ago, Yuvraj Dua, the aforementioned dialect coach and content creator also shared a post sharing his experience of working with Ranveer Singh on the film. Sharing some behind-the-scenes stills with the actor, Yuvraj said, “So a lot of you have asked me (3 of you) over the past year or so, how did I meet Ranveer so many times, why was I on the sets of RRKPK. So here goes, uska reason ye hai ki I was hired by Dharma, (yes, THE DHARMA PRODUCTIONS) to help Ranveer get the West Delhi accent and Dialect for his character ‘Rocky'. Though I was officially the “Dialect Coach” I didn't have to do much, except simply talk to Ranveer. He spent a few hours with me and already started adapting the accent and the lingos, and even started writing his dialogues in the most authentic West Delhi language. It was ridiculous at first but then I realised it's the magical talent of the man and the years of utter dedication and devotion to the craft that has helped Ranveer reach this stage where he can effortlessly mould himself into any character and bring his own charm to it (and the charm is level 100 charm).”

Shared on the occasion of Ranveer Singh's birthday, the note further said, “And this might just be the most perfect occasion to share my experience of working with him. Happy Birthday legend Ranveer Singh. You are much more of a West Delhi guy than I ever will be and there's no doubt about it. And obviously goes without saying, you guys need to (have to bhi nahi need to) watch #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani in theatres, tumhare andar ka Dilli khush ho jayega.
