Producer Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to promote her paranormal flick Ragini MMS and after taking help from S D Burman, the TV queen has remixed a Bappi Lahiri number for the movie.
Raat Akeli Hai from Jewel Thief is a beautiful seductive number but Kapoor plans to spook the audience with the new version. She has also included 'You are my Chicken fry', a 90's number by Lahiri from Rock Dancer in the new movie.
The song is shot in a funny, quirky manner and promises to have audiences thoroughly entertained. "The song completely suited the tone of the film. So we decided to take it and remix it to suit our young audience taste," Kapoor said.
She plans to release the movie on May 13 at 12 in the night, which is believed to be an ominous date. Kapoor is trying her best to generate the interest of the audience for this small budget affair. She has hired 1300 auto rickshaws in Mumbai, who will carry slogans like Ragini Ka MMS Dekha Kya?.
