Los Angeles:
Elizabeth Taylor has reportedly refused to provide financial help to her eighth ex-husband who is facing eviction from his California home.
Larry Fortensky, a former construction worker was married to the Cleopatra star from 1991 to 1996, and he used the money he received in their divorce settlement to purchase a three-bedroom house in Temecula in 2002.
But Larry has struggled to keep up with the monthly mortgage payments of USD 5,800 and reached out to Elizabeth in the hope that she would bail him out and save him from foreclosure, according to a tabloid.
The publication claims it's the second time Larry has appealed to the 79-year-old actress for money. In 2009, she reportedly handed over USD 50,000 to prevent him from losing the property.
However, Taylor, who has been hospitalised since undergoing treatment for congestive heart failure in February this year, was forced to deny Larry's latest request as she battles her own problems.
