Sir Elton John would like to seeactor Robert Downey Jr play him in a planned biopic. The Rocket Man hitmaker is teaming up with Britishscreenwriter Lee Hall for the project, which is still in itsnascent stage, a website reported.
"A biopic of my life, I'm quite old now so they'd haveto be two or three actors and they'd have to vary in weight.Robert Downey Jr could maybe play me at a certain stage," Johnsaid at the London premiere of 'Gnomeo And Juliet'.
The 63-year-old singer has previously worked withDowney when he played the lead role in his track 'I WantLove'.
Although details of the film are yet to be finalised,John has said that it will not be a straight biopic but amore 'surrealistic' version of his life.
"Obviously, it's not going to be your normal, run ofthe mill film because my life has kind of been crazy. And Ithink it's important to do a kind of surrealistic take on mylife," he added.
The singer expects the project to take around twoyears to complete.
