London: Actress Emilia Clarke, who shot nude for hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, said that she needed vodka and some flattering lighting to shoot those scenes, reported Femalefirst.
The 29-year-old actress plays the role of dragon queen Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series.
"All I needed was vodka and some flattering lighting and I was ready. It was just a wonderful, strong moment I wanted to own, a real empowering, girl-power wow scene. I was so thrilled with it. It's not a sexy scene, she's not naked for no reason, it's not gratuitous. She's naked because she's just destroyed her enemies in this almighty blaze after they underestimated her. She played her trump card - how could I say no?" Ms Clarke said.
The actress said that she has no discomfort in appearing nude on screen, providing it adds to the narrative of the show or movie.
