Actress Emma Stone says she almost turned down the role in Spider-Man film franchise becauseshe was convinced she wasn't right for the part.
The 23-year-old, who stars as Peter Parker's love interest Gwen Stacy in the upcoming reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man, said she initially wasn't keen on joining the superhero blockbuster, reported Daily Star.
"I heard about Spider-Man and I didn't think it was something I would want to be a part of. I just thought thatprobably isn't right for me.
"Then I auditioned with Andrew Garfield and realised that this was a really interesting, fantastic relationship betweentwo people and that I was being really closed-minded," Stone said.
