Bryan Cranston, the lead actor of recently concluded Breaking Bad , captured his fourth Emmy Award for the Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series. This ties him with Dennis Franz who won it four times for his portrayal of Detective Andy Sipowicz in NYPD Blue in 1990s. Breaking Bad also won the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy and awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Outstanding Writing - Drama. (Also Read: The Big Winners and more)
Comedy Series Modern Family also equalled the record for five Outstanding Comedy Series wins with Frasier.
Another record maker was actor Jim Parsons who won his fourth Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for playing the quirky genius Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory. This ties him for the most wins with the likes of Kelsey Grammer and Michael J Fox.
