Enrique Iglesias Announces Summer Tour In Us

  • Pop heartthrob Enrique Iglesias has announced his own summer tour after pulling out of pop princess Britney Spears's much anticipated global gig earlier.
  • The 35-year-old Spanish singer confirmed that he will hit the road and appear on stage in 20 US cities, reported People magazine online.
  • Iglesias will however not be a one man show. The pop star will be accompanied by rapper Pit Bull and R&B singer Prince Royce.
  • "I'm so excited to go out in the States and this time with my good friends Pitbull and Prince Royce. It's going to be a great show and we hope to see all of you out there. This tour will be unforgettable," said the 'Escape' hitmaker.
  • In March, Iglesias shocked fans after abruptly pulling out of Spears' upcoming tour just hours after the pop star announced it on Good Morning America.
  • At the time no reason was given for the singer's abrupt change of heart, which came shortly after Spears gave her first live TV performance in two years in a bid to drum up interest in the tour.
  • Nicki Minaj, the 26-year-old rapper has since replaced Iglesias as the supporting act.
  • Iglesias' summer tour will begin on September 22 in Boston and conclude in his home town of Miami on October 22.
Los Angeles: Pop heartthrob Enrique Iglesias has announced his own summer tour after pulling out of pop princess Britney Spears's much anticipated global gig earlier.

The 35-year-old Spanish singer confirmed that he will hit the road and appear on stage in 20 US cities, reported People magazine online.

Iglesias will however not be a one man show. The pop star will be accompanied by rapper Pit Bull and R&B singer Prince Royce.
