Spanish pop star EnriqueIglesias' childhood nanny is the one behind his success as shehad loaned him money to record his first single.
The 26-year-old singer, who was in need of cash tolaunch his career, turned to the woman who took care of himwhile his father Julio Iglesias was touring the world,reported Contactmusic.
"When the time came for me to do a demo, I was 16, Ididn't have $1,800, so I asked her and she was nice enoughto give it to me," Iglesias said.
Over the years the Hero hitmaker has taken care ofhis nanny and helps her financially. "She took care of me forthe first 25 years of my life and now I take care of her," hesaid.
