The Deols and their new son-in-law have been most obliging to the assembled cameras at the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies for Esha and fiancé Bharat. But the near perfect family photo album is missing one very important member.
The beaming bride and groom to be, Esha and Bharat, were joined by Esha's mother, Hema Malini, and sister Ahana. But where was her father, Dharmendra?
Veteran actor Dharmendra was conspicuously absent from the family pictures of Esha and Bharat's engagement in February this year. Nor was he seen at the sangeet held on Monday (June 25). We were told he'd been there to bless his daughter and new son-in-law but left early.
Now, according to a latest report in (Times Of India) Dharmendra said he was "very much there" but had "avoided the cameras." But, sir, why?
The report further states that the Sholay actor had been in the US to meet his other daughter, by first wife Prakash Deol, who is married.
Here's hoping we'll finally catch a glimpse of Garam Dharam wearing a pink pagdi and welcoming the baraatis at the wedding on June 29.
