Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria was involved in a car accident in Hollywood, but escaped without injuries.
Los Angeles police said the actress was heading towards Hollywood Boulevard on Wednesday evening when another driver made an unsafe left turn into a parking lot and hit the star's car.
Police said the actress complained of pain but was not seriously hurt, and a preliminary investigation report showed the other driver was at fault, reported TMZ.
The 35-year-old plays the role of Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives, and has been married to basketball star Tony Parker since 2007.
The actress is meanwhile excited about hosting MTV's European Music Awards in Spain later this month.
"I can't wait to see some fabulous performances and love that the most nominated artists this year are two amazing women, making some of the most exciting music in pop right now," she said.
Lady Gaga and Katy Perry top the nominations, and go head to head in four categories; best pop act, best female act, best song and best video.
