Eva Mendes has been granted arestraining order by the court against a crazy fan whobelieved he was in a relationship with the Hollywood star.
The 37-year-old has accused John C Luna of houndingher for three years, reported Contactmusic.
The Hitch star told a judge she has been living in"constant fear" of Luna who allegedly believes he is in arelationship with her and that she is "willing to die forhim".
Mendes also claimed Luna has been harassing her since2008 and even showed up at her Los Angeles home last year.
In legal documents, she stated, "As a result of MrLuna's conduct directed at me including references in a letterthat he knows I am willing to die for him, and his showing upat my house on May 31st, 2011, looking for me, I am inconstant fear."
She has now been granted a temporary order, whichrequires Luna to stay at least 100 yards away from Mendes, herhome, her car and workplace.
Mendes also wants the man to pay her legal bills forthe amount of USD 8,550 and a further hearing has been setfor June 20.
