Fantastic Four star Chris Evanshad initially turned down Captain America worrying that thelikely sequels of the movie may come in the way of his otherplans including a possible trip to India.
"If these movies do well, I could be playing this guyuntil I'm 40. What if I want to quit acting? What if I want tomove to India? You can't, you have a contract. It'sterrifying!," Evans said.
The 29-year-old actor was apprehensive about acceptingthe role in the Marvel action movie since he thought itsfuture sequels may stop him from taking part in projects hewas interested in, reported Contactmusic.
"I didn't want to do this movie. I said no, I think,three times. I had serious doubts," he said.
However, the star who has already worked in FantasticFour sequels was eventually brought round to the idea by thescript and realised that his was a "great" character.
"I loved the character. He's a good guy. He does theright thing, not for the praise but because it's the rightthing," the actor added.
Captain America: The First Avenger, due for releaselater this summer, also stars Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving.
