New Delhi: Her next film Housefull 2 has a dozen actors, but Shazahn Padamsee isn't fretting. After all, stars are also a part of multi-starrers, isn't it, says the actress."I have such a long way to go. I am so young and have to be a part of the industry for so many years. I'll do multi-starrers, I'll do films with many people...Now you see even the stars doing multi-starrers. The world is my oyster; I don't look for anything solo or multi-starrer," Shazahn told IANS.
Daughter of ad guru Alyque Padamsee, Shazahn made her Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year and later went on to be a part of Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji, which had an ensemble cast.
She is now gearing up for the release of Housefull 2 April 5.Directed by Sajid Khan, the comedy film features Akshay Kumar, Asin Thottumkal, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi Kapoor.
Shazahn was initially nervous about being a part of the film, but after working with the cast and crew, she says its been her best experience so far.
"Earlier, I was nervous because I had heard of the pranks of Sajid and since I am the youngest among the cast and the crew, I thought I would be picked up very easily for a prank. But it has been the most enjoyable experience."
"All the actresses are very close and we were always chatting on the sets discussing diet tips. The cast has become family now," she added.
The two-film-old actress says she is enjoying the way her Bollywood career has shaped up so far, but says being an actor was never on her mind. Rather, she wanted to be a writer.
"It has been a wonderful journey. I come from a theatre family. So films were something I never thought of doing because I wanted to be a writer. But now since I am part of films, I am enjoying every bit of it," said Shazahn, who recently walked the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) ramp for designer Sulakshana Monga.
