Neil Nitin Mukesh says he likes being involved in all the processes of filmmaking

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who hasserved as an assistant director for five years in thebeginning of his film career, wants to get behind the camerasomeday and call the shots.
"I was an assistant director for five years of mylife. I would definitely like to get into direction for sure.It will certainly happen some day but it is little prematureto talk about it," Neil told PTI.
He was an assistant director for Yash Raj FilmsMujhse Dosti Karoge.
Considering that the actor plans to venture intodirection, he gets involved in almost every aspect offilmmaking. One can recollect that he also sung for his filmsAa Dekhen Zara and Jail and expressed his desire to turnmusic director as well.
"I am involved in the filmmaking process like fromscripting to post production from music to story todirection," said Neil.
"I think every actor should not be complacent aboutthe fact that he is one. For me everything is my job. If myfilm set is dirty I will start cleaning it, I am not ashamedof doing it. Its my film so I will do whatever I can," hesaid.
The 31-year-old enjoys writing as well and is puttingfinal touches to a script he has penned between his filmcommitments.
"The film is titled Paidaar. It means eternal.. For melove never dies. It is still under writing stage, a last draftof dialogues is happening that is happening simultaneouslywith my other projects," Neil said.
"I am trying to finish off my prior commitments beforeI jump into anything own of mine," he said.
If all goes well, then the film will go on floors thisyear itself. Hopefully by end of the year we should startworking on it," Neil said.
The aspiring filmmaker will be seen next inDusshera, Shortcut Romeo opposite Puja Gupta and AmeeshaPatel. Then there is 3G with Sonal Chauhan and Ishqeriawith Richa Chadda.
"This year I am doing five films all different fromeach other. I wanted to do a horror film in my career so I did3G. Then I play an encounter specialist in Dusshera."I am doing an action-thriller Shortcut Romeo whichwill not only reach multiplexes but also single screens andsmaller cities. It is a hardcore action drama, suspensecommercial film," he added.
