In the mood for some nostalgia? Then you need to watch this eighties' commercial featuring Salman Khan. Before Salman Khan stepped into Bollywood, he featured in a series of adverts, and one among them was for Hero Honda in 1985. Fan-clubs dedicated to the 55-year-old superstar have dug out the old commercial featuring a young Salman Khan and needless to say that it's doing the rounds on the Internet. In the bike commercial, which was shot in New Delhi, Salman Khan can be seen introducing Hero Honda's CD 100. Salman Khan must have been 19 or 20 when he featured in the advert.
Before joining films, Salman Khan, as an aspiring actor, also featured in commercials for Campa Cola, Limca and Double Bull shirts. In 1989, Salman Khan made his full-fledged Bollywood debut with Maine Pyar Kiya, which eventually turned out to be a super hit and one of the highest earning films of the year.
In 2019, Salman Khan shared an interesting anecdote about his first ever commercial, which was for Campa Cola. Salman Khan revealed he landed the commercial directed by Kailash Surendernath in his attempt to impress a girl. And she was none other than Kailash Surendernath's then girlfriend Aarti Gupta (they later got married). Speaking to Tara Sharma on her show, Salman Khan said Kailash Surendernath had told him: ""That girl you were trying to impress is my girlfriend. She told me that this guy swims really well."
In terms of work, Salman Khan was last seen Radhe, which released earlier this year. The Tiger Zinda Hai sequel is his upcoming movie, in which he reunites with Katrina Kaif on screen. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are currently in Russia for the shooting schedule of Tiger 3.
