Mumbai:
Bipasha Basu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were all set to shoot for the second schedule of Suparn Verma's horror flick Aatma in Panchgani recently. A series of developments, however, forced the shoot to be cancelled and the unit had to return to Mumbai.
According to a source: "First, Bipasha developed an eye allergy. It was a cause of concern as it is not something that could be easily hidden by make up. The actress couldn't fathom why it had happened. The shoot was postponed for that night and rescheduled for the next day. The allergy, however, did not subside and shooting was not possible."
"I developed a sudden eye allergy. Both my eyes were red and swollen. I had to take strong medication to subside the inflammation. The shoot on that day got cancelled and it was very stressful for me. I felt so bad that the entire schedule went for a toss. I had to keep rubbing ice on my eyes," said Bipasha Basu.
The source further added: "While walking at the shoot location in Panchgani, Suparn fell into a pit which he had not seen earlier. Moreover Nawazuddin also hurt his ankle. All these happenings compelled the unit to return to Mumbai and shoot in a set instead."
Producer Abhishek Pathak said: "We had to shoot in a graveyard and it required to be done in the nights only. Due to all these happenings, we decided to cancel it. It was as if some force was hindering the shoot. We were all spooked ourselves."
