London:
A man promoting fake concerts of singer Mariah Carey has been sentenced to jail for 21 months.
RDA Group employee Antywan Ross conned a New Jersey investor into paying him a 206,250 pound loan, which he said would be used to plan a series of Mariah Carey concerts in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
However, when the concert never took place and the amount given was not paid back, the investor launched a legal battle against Ross for the scam.
The judge ordered Ross to serve 21 months behind bars and pay 203,125 pounds in restitution.
