New Delhi: He continues to be one of themost loved stars at 69 but megastar Amitabh Bachchan feelsfame is transitory and will fade away one day.
The 69-year-old actor, who had an evening out afterhis surgery with family, admits that it is a bit discomfortingto be forgotton.
"There have been many occasions when interest has fadedfrom the celebrity. Has happened to me on many occasion. Itis a bit discomforting, but it must be known that this gloryand recognition shall all fade away one day. Some take itkindly, some do not.
"It is hard and harsh both to see adulation favor awayfrom you and settle on another. Better then to not be tooenamored by it when it serves you. Life is transitory as isfame. Be content when it is there by your side. Be gracious inaccepting that it has gone away, elsewhere. Let othersevaluate what the contribution if ever there was shouldbe," Bachchan posted on his blog.
The actor, who is busy these days for his performance inthe opening ceremony Indian Premiere League, said his fitnessregime is helping him to recover fast from the surgery.
"The workouts at the gym go well, gradually increasingthe speed of the walk, the weight in the hands. There is greatpleasure in this routine. The circulation, the easing of themuscles, the breathing and then finally the sit out in thesun."
