Mumbai: The makers of Wazir have deleted the intimate scenes between Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari in the film, to avoid a conflict with the Censor Board.
"As a part of the film, the duo shot some intimate love making scenes. Whoever had seen the outcome of it, felt that they were extremely sensuous and passionate. The reason for these cuts was because of the expected censor board issues," a source said.
In an earlier screening, there was a long discussion on the scenes and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra did not want any conflicts with the Censor Board for the film.
Recently, the Censor Board was criticised for cutting short kissing scenes between actor Daniel Craig and his leading ladies in the 24th James Bond film SPECTRE. Thus, to avoid any issues, the scenes were cut from Wazir by the filmmakers themselves, before the final screening for the censor board.
