Farhan essays former athlete Milkha Singh in the biopic

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who is racing ahead with his Bhaag Milkha Bhaag success, relived some of his childhood memories on a visit to his alma mater, the Maneckji Cooper School here on Friday.
Only this time, he went for a promotional event for the movie.
"Went back to my school to unveil a Bhaag Milkha Bhaag cover notebook. Flooded with memories. Still smiling," Farhan shared on Twitter.
"My school motto and Milkhaji's philosophy are the same - 'There is no excellence without labour'... So what better place to do this activity," he added.

The actor had a "big thank you" to convey to the the principal, teachers, staff and students for their "generosity of time and love".
"Will cherish it, always," he added.
