Farhan Akhtar has been trending big time ever since reports of him signing a Marvel project surfaced on social media. The actor has not confirmed this but, as per several reports, has already started filming. According to The Indian Express, Farhan is shooting for the project in Bangkok, Thailand. No details of the project are known - not the name, not even whether it is a film of a series. The Indian Express, The Quint and other media outlets are quoting a source as saying, "Farhan is currently stationed in Bangkok, along with an international cast and crew, for the shoot of a project with Marvel Studios, who are known to be one of the biggest film studios worldwide. All other details of the project are strictly under wraps."
Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar awaits the release of Toofaan, which has been directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The sports drama is Farhan and Rakeysh's second project together. The duo have previously worked together in the 2013 film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, which was based on the life of legendary field sprinter Milkha Singh. The film has been co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The film is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on May 21.
