New Delhi:

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who recently received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at a drive-in facility in Maharashtra's Andheri, was on Monday criticised by a Twitter user, who called him a "VIP brat." The Twitter user criticised Farhan Akhtar for using the drive-in vaccination facility, as he believed that it is "reserved" only for senior citizens. "Another VIP brat Farhan Akhar gets out of turn vaccination at the drive in reserved for 60+years senior citizens," the Twitter user wrote. He further accused the actor for "using his status for vaccination," as he wrote: "Either he is 60+, physically challenged that we do not know off, or used his status for vaccination." Shutting down the Twitter user, the 47-year-old actor responded to his tweet and clarified that the drive-in vaccination facility has been set up for citizens above the age of 45. "The drive in is for 45 + .. now do something constructive for society with your time like losing your phone," Farhan wrote in his reply to the user.
