Farhan Akhtar to donate endorsement fee

Actor Farhan Akhtar has decided to donate to charity the Rs 15 lakh endorsement fee from the Tata group.
The 38-year-old gave a voiceover for three Tata Group commercials. In return the company decided to pay him Rs.15 lakh.
"I have the highest regard for Ratan Tata (Tata Group chairman) and his philanthropic nature. Since this is my first personal association with his group, I felt it would be right to do (charity)," Farhan Akhtar said.
The director-actor will reportedly give the money to Shabana Azmi's Mijwan Welfare society and Magic Bus.
Farhan Akhtar has endorsed several brands like Pureit Marvella RO and McDowell's No 1.
Farhan Akhtar is now busy shooting for director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, a biopic on the life of athlete Milkha Singh. The film also stars actress Sonam Kapoor.
