The makers of Farhan Akhtar-starrerBhaag Milkha Bhaag are leaving no stone unturned to make hischaracter look authentic and have decided to meet the veteranathlete's trainer Havaldar Gurdev Singh.
The film, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is abiographical sport drama, inspired by the life of MilkhaSingh, one of the earliest sports icons of India.
The film will trace Milkha's childhood in today'sPakistan, the partition, and his achievements as an athlete inindependent India.
Actor-filmmaker Farhan is playing the legendary sportsmanin the movie and has devoted all his energies in preparing forthe role.
"He (Farhan) has been going through a rigorous trainingschedule. And he wants to meet Havaldar Gurdev Singh becausehe is behind the success of Milkha Singh and helped him becomethe Flying Sikh from a local guy," sources said.
"We want Farhan's character to look as authentic aspossible," Mehra said.
