Farhan Akhtar's Rock On 2!! has started shooting in Shillong and it began with 'scene 9' on Tuesday. Excel Entertainment co-owner Ritesh Sidhwani tweeted a picture from the sets in Shillong on October 6.
Farhan and the Rock On 2!! team arrived at the scenic hill station on October 4. The movie will reportedly be shot in the capital of Meghalaya over a period of two months.
Exactly two weeks ago, Ritesh had also shared an image with Rock On!! leading man Farhan, director Shujaat Saudagar and his friends on a 'Buoys' trip:
And it looks like they were in Glasgow:
Rock On 2!! is a sequel to the popular 2008 movie Rock On!!, which starred Farhan, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai, all of who will feature again in the second part. The list of new additions to the cast includes Shraddha Kapoor, Sonu Sood and Shashank Arora.
Shraddha, who will play a singer in the movie, told news agency IANS earlier that she will be singing for herself in Rock On 2!!. (Also Read: Shraddha Kapoor on Living Her Childhood Dream, Says 'It's Worth It')
Produced by Excel Entertainment, which is also co-owned by Farhan, the movie has not yet announced its release date and is expected to hit screens next year.
