Having finally recovered from his throat ailment, KJo seemed in full charge of the latest episode of Koffee With Karan. Sitting opposite him on the couch were brother-sister duo, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar.
This time, Karan tried hard but couldn't grill the masterful duo like many others preceding them on the couch. The conversation between the three filmmakers mostly revolved around Indian cinema and how it has changed over the years, but occasionally it took an emotional turn.
When the brother-sister duo was asked about their relationship with their father Javed Akhtar and step-mother Shabana Azmi, both shared how the Javed-Honey Irani divorce had had an impact on them in their early years.
Farhan revealed he went through a phase when things with Dad weren't so rosy, but got over it soon enough. Likewise, Zoya also shared her crazy teenage years' experience and gave credit to Shabana Azmi for giving the kids space in the beginning of the relationship.
On a lighter note, the Akhtars shared their childhood experiences and mutual admiration for Hrithik Roshan.
