Pakistani actor-singer Fawad Khan is set to make his Bollywood debut with Khoobsurat and says his hands are full right now because viewers liked his TV show Humsafar.
He undoubtedly enjoys a huge fan following in his homeland. In India, thanks to channel Zindagi, which airs Pakistani TV shows here, he has also built a strong fan base here.
Humsafar is the reason why I got a lot of work. People liked it and I hope here also the audience will like the show," the 32-year-old said on Tuesday on the sets of a TV reality show.
The small screen experience gave him recognition. However, Fawad wants to now focus on his film career. "Right now I want to continue in cinema, it is a learning experience for me. But if I have to, then I would go back to TV someday. But for now, I want to do cinema," said the Zindagi Gulzar Hai star.
Khoobsurat, also featuring Sonam Kapoor, will hit the theatres on September 19.
