Los Angeles:
Hollywood superstar Leonardo Dicaprio, who will be seen in the forthcoming Clint Eastwood directed biopic about the FBI founder 'J Edgar', says Edgar might have been gay.
The 36-year-old thinks that Hoover's right-hand man Vlyde Tolson may have actually been his lover, reported Access Hollywood.
"If you talk to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, there are staunch believers that these two men carried out a very professional relationship and they were sort of inseparable pals. These two men went on every vacation together. They ate breakfast, lunch and dinner together. They went to work together. They were together for 50 years. They lived together. They were buried together. They never had a family. They never had a girlfriend. You know, put it together in your mind and...." DiCaprio said.
The film is currently at the centre of a lot of attention and is being tipped for major Oscar success thisyear.
Dicaprio will also be seen in a new adaption of the F Scott Fitzgerald novel, The Great Gatsby, next year.
Directed by Baz Luhrman, he will be playing the lead role of Jay Gatsby.
