Black Eyed Peas star Fergie and her husband, actor Josh Duhamel, organised a star-studded charity run to raise funds for the Japanese relief effort.
The Boom Boom Pow hitmaker celebrated her 36th birthday by helping her Transformers star husband with the Tokidoki Youth Relief Run for the earth quake devastated nation, reported Contactmusic.
The participating runners were asked to pay $10 to enter the event and Duhamel called on people of all ages to take part in the two-mile sprint in California, to boost donations for the American Red Cross' Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund.
Celebrities like Glee actress Dianna Agron, socialite Paris Hilton and her designer sister Nicky showed their support for the charity drive by donning their running shoes for the race. "We did it! 4,000+ people pack the beach! The youth of LA mobilized & should be proud. All of u that donated should be proud. Much love..JD (sic)" wrote Duhamel, 38, on Twitter after the event.
