After being thrown out of an Akshay Kumar starrer, simply because she didn't 'look' the part of Mithun Chakraborty's sister, looks like Lady Luck has finally smiled on Nargis Fakhri. Buzz is that she has signed a film under Pritish Nandy and daughter Rangita's banner, to be directed by Rajshri Ojha.
Earlier, apparently Kangana Ranaut was considered for the same role. But after things didn't work out, she was replaced with Nargis. A source close to the banner says, "Yes, Nargis has been signed for the film and now the search is on to find the male lead."
The source adds, "Nargis would be playing a modern girl and her persona suits the role to the T." Nargis, Pritish Nandy and Rangita remained unavailable for comment.
