Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall, famous for their hit numbers Carnival of Rust and Late Goodbye, are all set to perform in India at the end of this month.
The rockers Marko Saaresto, Olli Tukiainen and Markus Kaarlonen will be performing live in Hard Rock Cafes across three cities - Bangalore, New Delhi and Pune on August 22, 24 and 25, 2012 respectively.
Commenting on their visit to India, lead vocalist Marko Saaresto said, "We've been to India before and were amazed to see the passion and love for music that the country presents. Our new album was launched in Finland earlier this year and was loved by music lovers and we're confident that we will receive a similar response from India too. Eagerly looking forward to our India tour!"
The acclaimed band started out their musical journey in 2003 and their first debut album of Poets of the Fall- Signs of Life was No 1 on the Finnish album chart in January 2005. The band has toured Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark,Germany, US, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and now are all set to enthrall Indian audiences with their fifth and latest album Temple of Thought.
