New Delhi: The trailer of Kapil Sharma's much awaited film Firangi is out and it's definitely your ticket for a time travel to the past. The comedian-actor released the film's trailer today on Twitter, which starts with Kapil telling the tale of the time when all Indians stood against the firangis except one man - Manga (played by Kapil), who thought that the firangis - were not bad people. Later, the trailer shows that Manga is a very fun-loving and happy-go-lucky boy, but he always fails to come out with flying colours in whatever he does. What's exciting about Manga is his 'magic kick,' which heals all pains. The film has been shot in some places of Punjab, which are very beautifully depicted in the trailer and will make you enjoy the colours of Punjab's culture as well. Manga also finds the love of his life - his rajkumari - Sargi (played by Ishita Dutta). Kapil's smooth and enchanting love story takes a sad turn when the whole village stand between Sargi and Manga's love story and declare that Manga is one of the firangis. Then the 'fight for truth begins.' Will Manga be able to unite with his lover? Well, Kapil's fans already can't wait to know.

Earlier, Kapil also reminded his fans of the arrival of Firangi's trailer with a new poster of the movie, in which he can be seen being driven around by a firangi.
 

Actress Ishita Dutta, who plays the lead role in the film, also tweeted about the trailer release and shared her 'excitement and nervousness.' Here's what she posted:
 

In no time, the posters of Kapil Sharma's Firangi went crazy viral on the Internet.

Firangi is the second movie on Kapil Sharma's resume after Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which was unable to receive a heartwarming response from the audience. The film is produced by Kapil himself and is directed by Rajiev Dhingra, who is also the creative director of The Kapil Sharma Show. It also features actress Monica Gill. The film will also have a special dance number by Iranian-Swedish actress Maryam Zakaria. Of the song, Maryam earlier told news agency IANS: "It feels great to be part of Firangi movie. I have done a special dance song with my favourite Kapil Sharma. This song is very special for me as after my Grand Masti movie, I am back on the screen with a very big song."
