Actor Salman Khan is back as Prem and this time he's looking quite blue - we mean that literally. The first look of his new film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo features the actor with his back to the camera, looking quite the aristocrat in a royal blue embellished kurta, white dhoti and and stole. Salman will, apparently, be seen in the double role of a prince and a commoner in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which reunites the actor with Sooraj Barjatya, the director responsible for his Prem persona in films such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Hum Saath Saath Hain. 'Prem' has been overshadowed rather in recent years by Dabangg's Chulbul Pandey, Kick's Devil and Bajrangi Bhaijaan's Pawan. The last time Salman, 49, was named Prem on screen was in 2011's Ready.
Produced by the Barjatya-owned Rajshri Productions and distributed by Fox Star Studios, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo releases this Diwali and also features Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal and Armaan Kohli in key roles.
