New Delhi:

The first look of Prabhas from upcoming film Project K has been released - late but nevertheless better than never. It shows Prabhas, who plays the lead in the Nag Ahswin-directed sci-fi movie, wearing armour and with his hair in the sort of man-bun a warrior might sport. He's shown in a kneeling martial stance and appears to have just pounded the ground with his fist. The first look was posted by both Prabhas as well as Project K producer Vyjayanthi Movies whose post read: "The Hero rises. From now, the Game changes."

Prabhas' caption read: "Here's the first look of Project K. Hope you all like it." See his post here:

This is the second character reveal from Project K - the first look of Deepika Padukone was shared a day ago. Here it is:

Both first look reveals were shared later than Vyjayanthi Movies announced they would be. For Prabhas, the delay was of an hour or two - several hours in Deepika's case.

Team Project K - or, more accurately, some of Team Project K - are in San Diego for Comic Con where the film has a panel. The final name of the film is expected to be announced (Project K is a working title) as well as a teaser or trailer. Prabhas and co-star Kamal Haasan are in USA for Comic Con as is Rana Daggubati who is responsible for taking Project to the annual event where it will be the first Indian film to be showcased.

Project K also stars Amitabh Bachchan and is expected to release on January 12, 2024.
