Chennai : The first look of Tamil actor Suriya's cop-thriller Singam 2 is likely to revealed on the occasion of Republic Day, Jan 26.
"The makers of the film are planning to release the first look of the film on January 26," said a source from the film's unit.
Directed by Hari, the new film is a sequel to the 2010 superhit movie Singam, which was later remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn as Singham. The sequel is due to release in the summer of this year.
In Singam 2, Suriya returns as an angry, righteous cop. It also features Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek, Santhanam in prominent roles.
Southern actress Anjali has been roped in to do an item number.
