The first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as a cage fighter in Bombay Velvet has social networking sites all a-Twitter.
The picture, tweeted by Bombay Velvet heroine Anushka Sharma and director Anurag Kashyap, shows a sweaty Ranbir - his hair dishevelled, his hands bandaged, and wearing a grimy T-shirt - leaning on the wire wall of a fighting cage. Behind, neon lights spell out part of the word 'Velvet.'
This image was posted on Twitter by Anurag KashyapRanbir's biceps and back are all we see of his chiseled physique which plays an important part in the film. So far, Ranbir has picked roles that relied on his craft rather than a six or eight pack. This time, his toned body will be central to his performance in what is a very physical role.
