In the first look of his character from new film Dil Dhadakne Do, actor Ranveer Singh trades his trademark flamboyant style for a white T-shirt and jeans, all the better to set off the blue Mediterranean sea behind him. Ranveer stars as Kabir Mehra in the Zoya Akhtar-directed film.
This is not the Ranveer of Band Baaja Baaraat or Ram-Leela, but an infinitely more polished version of the actor.
Dil Dhadakne Do, a film based on a dysfunctional Punjabi family who take a cruise, also stars actors Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah.
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani had earlier tweeted Anil Kapoor's look as the sophisticated Mr Mehra. (Also read: Anil Kapoor, Silver Fox, in Dil Dhadakne Do)
Dil Dhadakne Do is set to release on June 5.
