New Delhi: Vidya Balan is 'Wanted: For Kidnapping And Murder,' according to a poster for her upcoming film Kahaani 2, which was revealed earlier today.
Kahaani 2, which is the sequel to the 2012 sleeper hit Kahaani directed by Sujoy Ghosh, sees Vidya as Durga Rani Singh, supposed criminal. The poster adds to the mystery revolving around her character's kahaani or story.
Kahaani 2reunites Vidya and Sujoy for a second time and this time, Arjun Rampal is an addition to the cast. Whether any of the other cast members of the first instalment, like Nawazuddin Siddiqui or Parambrata Chatterjee, will also be seen in the film is as yet unknown.
Produced by Pen Films and Sujoy Ghosh, Kahaani 2 is now slated to hit theatres on December 2. It was earlier scheduled for a November 25 release but makers have pushed the date by a week, possibly to avoid a clash with the Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt film, Dear Zindagi.
