Corruption in India will die on May 1, cause of death Gabbar, according to the first poster of the upcoming film starring Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan titled Gabbar Is Back. The birth date of 'corruption' is given as August 15, 1947 - India's Independence Day - on the gravestone featured in the poster. May 1 is when the film releases.

Artwork featuring 'Gabbar' has flooded train and metro stations in Mumbai and Delhi, and also been spotted on BEST buses.
The trailer of the film will release on March 23.
Gabbar Is Back is a remake of 2002 Tamil movie Ramanaa. Apart from Shruti Haasan, who also features on the soundtrack, the cast includes Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Chennai Express actor Nikitin Dheer. Actresses Kareena Kapoor and Chitrangada Singh make special appearances.
